You could do a 13.6" rotor, but it would cost a lot more. Why you say? The price difference is not due to the different rotor size, but due to the difference in the mounts (cost to design and cost to machine only 2 parts). Best guess would be that new mounts would cost an additional $250 EACH! The pricing I can offer on the current kits is because I bit the bullet and laid out the cash to produce enough parts to get the cost low enough to make the kits affordable (for me included!) Concerning the rear heat, you are correct you could not use it for drifting. Could potentially make the rear out of 7075 aluminum, but that still would probably not with stand the abuse of drifting. Again you could potentially make the entire rear hat out of steel, but that would BIG $ because it is SO much harder to machine.
